LibreOffice AppImage
Run LibreOffice without installing
AppImage intro
AppImages contain the entire application and all the libraries and dependencies to run the application without needing to install it. These types of applications can be downloaded to USB sticks and other external drives and run, if the drives are formatted as NTFS and Ext 4. AppImages do not run consistently on Fat32-formatted drives.

This page and the video on this page have instructions about downloading the LibreOffice AppImage and setting it up to run. There are several different versions of the LibreOffice AppImage.
